Kelliher to Embark on Rural Economies Tour

DFL-endorsed candidate for Governor Margaret Anderson Kelliher will kick off a rural economies tour Wednesday, with stops in Alexandria, Morris, Moorhead, Staples, and Little Falls.

Kelliher will visit with working families, entrepreneurs at growing rural companies, small business owners, students and instructors at higher education and research institutions, and local and regional agriculture leaders.

As Governor, Kelliher says her top priority will be strengthening Minnesota’s economy, and creating good paying jobs for working Minnesotans.

“Minnesota needs a governor who will fight every day, and do everything it takes to put Minnesotans back to work,” said Kelliher. “We need a Governor who will create opportunity and strengthen local economies all across Minnesota. I will be that Governor.”

Margaret Anderson Kelliher grew up on a family dairy farm in Blue Earth County.
