DFL-endorsed Kelliher to Kick Off "No Stone Unturned" Jobs Tour at Stone Arch Bridge
MINNEAPOLIS, MN – DFL-endorsed candidate for Governor
Margaret Anderson Kelliher will kick off a statewide “No Stone Unturned” jobs
tour Sunday afternoon at 12:00pm in
Minneapolis. The news conference will take place at the base of the
Stone Arch Bridge – near the Mill Ruins Park at the corner of Portland Avenue
South and West River Parkway.
“As Governor, I will leave no stone unturned to get Minnesotans back to work,” said Kelliher. “I will wake up every day and do everything it takes to connect hard-working Minnesotans with good, meaningful work and a strong education. That’s what the ‘No Stone Unturned’ jobs tour is all about – and that’s why I am running for Governor.”
Casey MacCallum, who Kelliher calls a Minnesota success story, will be at the news conference to tell his story. Casey, a working dad, was laid off in 2009 and was out of work for 11 months. Because of Kelliher’s leadership, MacCallum is working again today – doing meaningful work in a good-paying job with excellent health care.
Kelliher’s statewide tour schedule and jobs blueprint will be distributed at the news conference.
