Minnesota’s next Governor must do everything it takes to get Minnesota back to work
Like so many Minnesotans, Casey MacCallum lost his jobs when the economy soured—and with it, Casey lost health insurance for himself, his wife and his daughter. Casey woke up everyday worried about how to pay the bills and provide for his family.
Casey was out of work for 11 months before he found a new job as an energy auditor at a weatherization program. His job was created by the leadership of Margaret Anderson Kelliher, who led the charge to bring federal energy efficiency dollars home to Minnesota that got Casey back on the job. Casey is an example of what responsible, effective solutions can do for Minnesota families, and Minnesota’s economy.
But there are still 214,000 Minnesotans just like Casey struggling to get back to work. As Governor, Margaret will fight every day to get Minnesota back to work – one job at a time.
