DFL-endorsed Kelliher to Visit Brainerd Monday on No Stone Unturned Jobs Tour
BRAINERD, MN – DFL-endorsed candidate for Governor Margaret Anderson Kelliher will continue her No Stone Unturned jobs tour in Brainerd this Monday, visiting St. Joseph’s Medical Center to talk jobs and federal funding for hospitals and clinics. Kelliher’s first action as Governor would bring $1.4 billion and 30,000 jobs home to Minnesota hospitals and clinics.
State Rep. John Ward will join Kelliher at a 2:45 news conference at the Brainerd DFL Headquarters to discuss the $3.7 million Kelliher will bring to St. Joseph’s if elected Governor.
Kelliher has laid out a comprehensive jobs blueprint to get Minnesota back to work (http://www.margaretforgovernor.com/node/293). Brainerd has one of the highest unemployment rates in the state, with 914 residents out of work. As Governor, Kelliher will do everything it takes to grow good-paying jobs for hard working Minnesotans in Brainerd and across the state.
Members of the press are invited to attend the news conference Kelliher will be joined by state Rep. John Ward and campaign supporters at 2:45 in the Brainerd DFL Headquarters.
