Fighting for Our Seniors and their Children and Grandchildren
Margaret will fight to make Minnesota a great place for our seniors and their children and grandchildren. As a mother and a daughter, Margaret understands the important role that seniors play in their families, in their communities and in Minnesota. She will provide seniors with the support they need to stay in their homes, stay independent and engaged in their communities and get the assistance they need. As Governor, Margaret will focus on making Minnesota a great place to live, work, raise a family and retire.
As Governor, Margaret will deliver property tax relief for Minnesotans over the age of 65. Her policy agenda also includes:
- Protecting seniors from cuts to health care and nursing homes
- Supporting independence and mobility in every corner of the state
- Appointing a cabinet-level advisor for aging and elderly services
- Promoting and expanding programs that connect retirees with mentoring opportunities in our schools, universities, and state government
- Protecting the financial security of Minnesota's aging population
Margaret is proud to have the endorsement of the DFL Senior Caucus.
